Instead of January weight loss advice, Rushe Fitness owner Emmet Rushe is inspiring us to think outside the box for our 2020 goals.
Today is ujnoffically the start of 2020.
The majority of people who are heading back to work, the kids are heading back to school and people will be getting back into routine again.
Intentions will be set for the New Year and there is no better time than now to plan out what you would love as part of your Bucket List for 2020.
With it being January, people’s minds will inevitably go to weight loss goals as one of their main things to achieve.
But, we aren’t going to talk about that this week.
This week, I want you to think outside the box and plan out what you would love to achieve for yourself.
The things that you have always wanted to do, but keep putting off because you are too busy, or because you think your wouldn’t be able to achieve them.
I’m going to let you in on a secret.
There is nothing that you cannot achieve with the proper planning and right amount of time and support.
Each year in Rushe Fitness, we plan different events for our gym members.

Some are simple events they can do in the gym to test themselves and others are larger challenges like climbing Muckish, climbing Errigal or doing mud runs.
These are all team events and the idea is to take members who think they wouldn’t be able and show them that they are more than capable of achieving anything they put their minds to.
This sense of achievement lasts far beyond the event and will spur you on to doing other things you never thought possible.
So, what’s on your list?
Maybe you want to:
- Climb Muckish or Errigal
- Read a book that you’ve always wanted
- Run the NW 10k
- Write a book
- Visit somewhere you haven’t been to in Donegal yet
- Learn how to play a musical instrument
- Join a gym (Rushe Fitness 😉
- Do a Mud Run
The possibilities are limited only by your imagination!
I know that you may look at these and immediately think ‘I can’t!’
But from years of seeing ladies just like you achieving their goals in and out of the gym, I can tell you that you absolutely can!
