Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed another classical connection to Ireland through her love for RTÉ radio.

The ‘And Just Like That…’ actress was tuning into the serene sounds of RTE Lyric fm yesterday when she decided to recommend it to the world.

Posting a screenshot of Lyric Through the Night on Instagram, she wrote: “Nice. I try to remember. Cause it’s always so lovely. #rteradio”.

And just like that… her Irish followers were over the moon.

“Best radio station EVER,” replied influencer James Kavanagh.

Many more fans took to her Instagram to make their own radio recommendations for Marty in the Morning and John Creedon.

“@SJP, the feeling is mutual X,” replied the RTE lyric fm team.

Perhaps the musical discovery was made during one of SJP’s trips to Donegal, where she and her husband Matthew Broderick have a holiday home in coastal Kilcar.

Over the years, SJP has revealed a fondness for many other Irish products, including crisps, Guinness from the local pubs and Kerrygold butter.

Last week, during the ‘Ruthie’s Table 4’ food podcast, she said she uses the classic Irish butter on her spuds which turns her food into “heaven”.

“So, I use Kerrygold butter and just a touch of olive oil so the butter doesn’t burn. There’s so much unsalted butter in London, it’s kind of hard to find the salted.

“You can taste all the fat, you can smell the fat. Put them in the pan with olive oil and salt and pepper and ah – heaven.

“We are crazy about potatoes and butter,” she added.
