Popular healthy food company ‘Freshly Chopped’ have today announced plans to open outlets in Co. Donegal and Northern Ireland.
The Chopped salad deli outlets have popped up in 46 locations throughout Ireland in recent years, offering fresh, clean and nutritious food served quickly.
Freshly Chopped have entered into a strategic partnership with Mount Charles, Ireland’s largest indigenous food service and business support services provider.
The partnership will see Mount Charles take an exclusive area development contract to rollout Freshly Chopped across Northern Ireland and Donegal. The deal will be rolled out over the next three years, creating up to 150 jobs. Details of the Donegal store locations have yet to be announced.
At Chopped stores, customers enjoy great crisp lettuce selections, garden fresh vegetables, salad dressings, and more than 90 ingredients ‘chopped’ and freshly dressed into a unique salad bowl or in a sealed savoury wrap.

Initially, the deal will see six high-end standalone Freshly Chopped outlets open across Northern Ireland’s high streets with the first flagship store due to open in Belfast in August.
