A kind-hearted local lady has raised another incredible sum of money for the Alzheimer Society.

Well-known Creeslough woman Pat McCarry presented a €2,300 cheque to the Donegal branch of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland after holding her 23rd annual coffee morning on August 4th.

Pat has put on a coffee morning for friends and family every year since 1994. She has raised approximately €38,000 over the years and has great support from people coming to the event and giving donations.

Recently she has hosted the tea parties at her home in Cashelmore Creeslough, where brilliant baking and top-quality tea bring in many visitors.

Pat wishes to thank all who donated funds and home baking, milk and jams to the coffee morning. She thanks her helpers, those who served tea and all the kitchen staff who put in great work on the great day of fundraising last month.
