Swimming for a good cause has never been more fun!

Everyone is invited to go positively pink for a fun dip this Sunday, October 22nd, at 10.30am on Marble Hill beach.

The “Swim in Pink” event is in aid of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute, together with Blackrock Swimwear, raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research during October.

It is just €25 to register for this feel-good event. All proceeds will go to the National Breast Cancer Research Institute. And as a bonus, participants will also receive a free “Swim in Pink” swimming cap. It is an opportunity for people to dip, swim or splash for a good cause and support breast cancer research. The event promises to be a great opportunity to meet new people, enjoy a coffee or sauna after the swim, and take a cool photo with everyone in pink!

Breast cancer is a major concern in Ireland, with one in seven women developing it before turning 75, and over 3,500 cases diagnosed annually. The National Breast Cancer Research Institute, based at the Lambe Institute of the University of Galway, is working on national and international projects to improve the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.

So, what are you waiting for? Register now at www.swiminpink.ie and join us on October 22nd at Marble Hill at 10:30 am. Don’t miss out on this chance to make a difference and support breast cancer research.
