A Buncrana couple has booked the best seats in the house for the Late Late Toy Show – the studio audience!

Jade and Gavin Doherty are getting their Christmas jumpers ready to be part of Ireland’s biggest show of the year.

Being in the Toy Show audience has been a lifelong dream of Jade’s, and this week that dream will come true when they head to Dublin to see Tubs and the talented children of Ireland in action.

Jade, like thousands of others, applies for the Toy Show audience tickets every year. This week she was buzzing with excitement to find out her name was drawn.

“I just applied for them like I do every year. It’s amazing to win,” Jade said.

Jade and Gavin’s four children are just as excited to know their mum and dad will be coming back with all those prizes handed out ‘for everyone in the audience’.

Jade and Gavin and family love to watch the Toy Show as a Christmas tradition

Jade said: “The kids are so excited, they can’t wait to see mammy and daddy on TV and bring home lots of treats. I would say they will be waiting all day Saturday on us home. I’m so happy for them, it’s a magical night but to see mammy and daddy there will make it even more magical.”

We can expect a few more familiar faces from Donegal on the Toy Show this Friday, as 11-year-old Kris Friel from Lifford is also tuning up for a performance on stage:
