Donegal Domestic Violence Service to create new safe houses with support from RunDonegal Women’s 5k

The RunDonegal Women’s 5k takes place this year on Sunday next, 22nd May 2022 at the Finn Valley Centre in Stranorlar at 11am.

The sole beneficiary this year is the Donegal Domestic Violence Service.

This is an extremely essential service which provides a 24hr emergency helpline (1800 262677) and provides outreach support to clients at locations throughout the County of Donegal.

The proceeds of the 2022 RunDonegal Womens 5k will go towards their project of developing two additional safe house units that require renovating and furnishing. They hope to have these completed before the end of the year.

The entry fee for the 2022 Rundonegal Womens 5k is €10.

Entries are also being taken at Finn Valley Centre. Online entrants can collect their race numbers at The Finn Valley Centre on the morning of the event.
