TripAdvisor has just named the top beaches in the world as voted for by millions of travellers, with one Donegal beach earning a place in the top 10 in Ireland.
Narin Beach in Portnoo, southwest Donegal was placed at number nine on the list of Best Beaches in Ireland. A visit to the beach was listed as the number one thing to do in Narin-Partnoo.
The 2km long sheltered cove beach on the Atlantic coast of Ireland is a hugely popular place for locals and tourists alike. The beach is also set within a designated natural heritage area and is a Blue Flag beach.
One reviewer describes the hotspot as a “stunning stop on the Wild Atlantic Way” other reviewers have labelled the location as “paradise”.
