An east Donegal woman who benefited from the services of Epilepsy Ireland has raised more than €1,600 for the organisation through her Guest Tea.

Sebrena White, from Killygordon, was diagnosed with left Temporal Lobe Epilepsy in 2005 and suffered life threatening ‘grand mal’ seizures on a daily basis for almost two years. With the proper medications and treatment, however, she is now 17 years seizure free.

On Easter Saturday, kind hearted Sebrena organised a Guest Tea in her home to raise some much needed funds for Epilepsy Ireland as a thank you for all the help and support she received during and after her diagnosis. A grand total of €1,645 was raised.
