Donegal TikTok star Mirenda Rosenberg has launched a ‘Content Creator Tea’ to help creators spill the tea on their challenges and share successes.

This networking event and workshop at the Shandon Hotel and Spa is for creative social media users to connect, share ideas, and maybe even brainstorm some collaborations.

Mirenda has garnered over 600k followers on TikTok documenting her micro-homesteading journey and sustainable practices from her home outside Letterkenny, served up with a side of wellbeing.

Mirenda found success accidentally during lockdown by sharing self-sufficiency tips like soap making, she is credited with creating the #TallowTok trend about turning rendered animal fat into soaps, body butters and balms.

Mirenda hopes the Content Creator Tea will nurture both aspiring and established Donegal creators.

She says was inspired to create the network after attending influencer events that felt “adversely competitive and unnecessarily classist/elitist.”

“I began the events to build a supportive community of content creators here in Donegal,” Mirenda said. “We as creators have unique experiences and challenges that those outside of our community don’t always understand. My goal is to help create a strong support network and spark collaborations.”

“I believe that here in Donegal we can have a healthier environment of influencers.”
