Popular Donegal nail technician Vanessa Canning has nailed another national award!
The Manorcunningham woman won Best Customer Experience in the Irish Nails, Brows, Lashes Awards 2023.
Vanessa, now seven years in business, dedicated her prize to her amazing clients, who she considers family. Five years ago she closed her books to new clients due to the loyalty and support she had from all the people on her books.
Vanessa collected her award in a glamorous evening of celebration on Sunday last at the Crowne Plaza Dublin.

“I take so much pride in the fact that I make my clients feel so comfortable within my salon,” Vanessa said.
“We have been through everything together. I’ve been there for some of my clients’ engagements to weddings to first children and now doing their little baby girl’s nails.
“It is really such a special bond you create with each client and I’m so grateful for all of mine.
“All salons have a work family but seeing as I own my business myself and work alone I class my clients as my work family. They are the reason I am where I am today and I pride myself in giving them the best customer experience I possibly can.”
Vanessa also holds the title of Ireland’s Nail Salon of the Year 2022 from the Irish Hair and Beauty Awards and Nail Technician of the Year Ulster at The Irish Nails Brows Lashes Awards 2022.
