Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed that she enjoyed a quiet Christmas break in Ireland.

The Sex And The City star, who has a holiday home in coastal Kilcar, enjoyed her first holiday season in Ireland since 2019 due to pandemic travel restrictions.

The star took to Instagram today to say a romantic farewell to her second home.

While the family rang in the New Year in Donegal in previous years, they are on their way back to New York to celebrate 2023.

Alongside a photo of green fields, grey skies and a rainbow, the 57-year-old wrote: “Thank you Ireland. It was a happy.

“Always hard to leave. But you sent us off nice. X,SJ.”

SJP, her husband Matthew Broderick and their three children also spent time in Donegal in August, where they were the special guests at Kilcar GAA club’s Broderick Cup tournament. The underage tournament was created in memory of Matthew’s parents, James and Patricia Broderick, who holidayed in south Donegal often and were great supporters of the local club.

Style icon Sarah Jessica Parker also took the opportunity to check out Donegal’s local makers this summer, and a purchase she made in Donegal Town eventually made headlines in November. Sarah got her hands on one of the first Faye Coats by Triona in Donegal Town, which she wore while filming the second series of And Just Like That… in NYC. The Faye coat became an instant hit and sold out in days.

Sarah Jessica has always been a great supporter of local Donegal brands and businesses, including Triona and Studio Donegal.
