Collette Ferguson, Development Officer would like to express her gratitude to all who supported the North West Simon Community Health, Well-being & Gratitude Event held on Sunday, 23rd October at the Villa Rose Hotel & Spa.

Collette said it was a very special and intimate event attended by inspirational ladies from all walks of life.

Evelyn McGlynn, Donegal Mammy/Evelyn Mc Marketing was MC for the afternoon and introduced the Six remarkable ladies by joining them on the couch who covered an array of Health and Well-being topics with each of them sharing their stories.

The speakers included: Cathy Kelly Sweeney, Marketing Consultant & Coach, opened the show and spoke about different aspects of her life followed by the inspirational Annmarie Houston, Visual Awareness Trainer/Ennegram Facilitator and Suzanne Griffin, Expert in anatomy and movement who had all on their feet exercising and a bit of dancing!

The panel was also joined by three further Inspirational ladies who had an informal conversation on the couch; Jo Daly, President of the Donegal Women in Business/Quay West Restaurant in Donegal Town, Sandra Devenney, GM of McElhinney’s & Sandra’s 5 & 5 and TaraLouise McCaughey, ZINC Media Agency all sharing their life stories of courage and resilience. 

Collette Ferguson, would like to thank each and every one of the speakers and Evelyn Mc Glynn (Donegal Mammy/Evelyn Mc Marketing) for all their help and support in making the event such a powerful and successful day.  A huge thank you to Gabrielle’s Diary for her excellent coverage and photography on the day.

The amount raised from the event was just under €2,000 with more donations still coming in.
