TWO west Donegal teenagers completed a marathon walk last week in aid of charity.

Best friends Chloe Walker-Boyle and Rebecca Shovlin decided to have a go at a socially-distanced marathon and last Friday morning, they headed off at 7am.

Ten hours later, the pair crossed the 42km marker. Chloe and Rebecca, who have been best friends since they met in creche, were said to ‘blistered and aching but delighted with themselves’.

Their endeavours have, so far, raised almost €1,800 for the Irish Cancer Society.

Chloe and Rebecca, who are both 15, are students at Rosses Community School in Dungloe.
