Donegal-based Australian native Bronwyn Walsh has collected another great boost for the Australian Bushfire & Flood Relief after a table quiz last weekend.

Bronwyn Walsh, who lives in Letterkenny, is originally from Canberra and has family living in the South Coast area of Australia.

The South Coast area has been hit by devastating fires since July 2019, and yesterday, the NSW Rural Fire Service declared its first day without active fires in 240 days.

As the clean-up and relief efforts get underway, Bronwyn is inspiring local people in Donegal to take note and do what they can to support Australians affected by the disasters.

Bronwyn held a Funder for Down Under concert last Valentine’s Weekend, followed by a pub quiz on Saturday 29th February at the Bridge Bar Ramelton. €300 was raised at the #Quiz4Oz and raffle, which was a fun night enjoyed by all.

All proceeds are being donated to the South Coast Community Support Group which provides on the ground support for firefighters and evacuees.

Bronwyn’s fundraising continues with a big draw to be held at the end of March. Don’t miss this major giveaway, with some fantastic prizes donated by local businesses:

Bronwyn has issued a big thank you to everyone who supported last month’s quiz and concert and everyone who is donating to the grand prize draw.
