Health, beauty and self-care will be big topics at this week's Tea & Toast gathering in Buncrana.
A nurse and homeopathy student and a leading local makeup artist will be guest speakers at the Tea & Toast March meeting.
The Tea & Toast is an Inishowen-based group hosting casual meet-ups for mothers to get together and learn new tips and tools for taking care of their own mental well-being. The group began in January 2018 and is named after the first meal that mums often get after giving birth.
This month’s event on Wednesday, 20th March 2019, 7.30-9.30pm in the Cockhill Celtic Youth Club, will hear from two well-established speakers. Here is what mums can look forward to:
Sandra Docherty is a 3rd year homeopathy student in the Belfast School of Homeopathy with a further one year study to undertake.
She is a registered nurse in the UK and Ireland for nearly 20 years. Her experience ranges from surgical wards, ward management, nurse practitioner and clinical educator. At present, she works as a nurse trainer in Northern Ireland.
