Donegal has been named the soundest county in Ireland!
A Reddit user took to the popular r/Ireland subreddit and asked users which county they think deserves the title, and the winner was overwhelmingly Donegal.

We had some competition, with Wexford, Galway, and Kerry also being named – but in the end, The Hills claimed the top spot.
The people of Donegal are used to raking in the awards – we’ve got the sexiest accent, we’re living in the Coolest Place in the Planet, and now we’re officially the soundest county in Ireland.
We’re inclined to agree – although we’re admittedly slightly biased!
