Local women are invited to treat themselves to a glamourous and elegant fundraiser and fashion show at Castle Grove Country House.

But you need to be quick – tickets for the Afternoon Tea and Fashion Show in aid of Donegal Youth Service are selling fast. The stylish event is taking place on Saturday, the 14th of October at 2pm in the beautiful Castle Grove Country House Hotel.

The glamorous afternoon aims to raise funds for the vital services that Donegal Youth Service provide for young people all over the county.

This stylish event will be hosted by two very well-known Donegal women, The S-Mum Maria Rushe, and Joanne Gallinagh of Beaus and Belles Baby Massage.

The special guest speaker on the day is Alma McManus, from Clothesology who will be offering “a style solution for every body”.

Outfits are already being planned around the county as there will be a special ‘best dressed’ prize on the day. As well as a delicious afternoon tea, attendees will also be treated to a fashion show courtesy of Clare Clothing, as well as other local stores.

Goodies and prizes have kindly been donated by Cocoa Brown, Inglot, Boots, iCandy, Kinvara Skinscare, Niks Tea, Aoife McGill Personal Training, Clare Clothing, bPerfect and Castlegrove Country House. Generous local businesses Arena 7, Macs Mace, Highland Motors and Mc Ginleys Bar, have sponsored the cost of the event itself.

Sheena Boyle-Laverty, DYS Youth Outreach Worker shared “We would like to extend our gratitute to the very generous brands and local business who have sponsored this event and donated fabulous goodies. We couldn’t do it without the support of our community. We are really looking forward to the big day, meeting everyone and seeing all of the glamorous outfits.”

Donegal Youth Service provide a range of supports and services for young people around the county, including mental health support, education and training, youth clubs, an LGBTI group, one-to-one support and much more. Since 1981 they are there for the young people of Donegal. In whatever way they need them, year after year, generation after generation.

Tickets are €30, and must be paid for in advance as places are limited.
