Ladies enjoyed a lesson in beauty at a luxurious masterclass event at Solis Lough Eske Castle, Donegal, on Friday, May 5th 2017.

Hundreds of women brought their gal pals together for a fabulous Friday night out at Lough Eske Castle Hotel, a Solís Hotel & Spa. The hotel’s first ever Beauty Masterclass event was the perfect excuse for local women to treat themselves while discovering the best ways to care for their skin and overall look.

Creative makeup-themed canapes artistically created by the castle chefs were one of the most beautiful elements of the evening and were the centre focus of many photos. Guests enjoyed the nibbles while sipping bespoke cocktails and Prosecco as they browsed pop-up shops by exclusive brands to Spa Solís and local beauty companies.

Joanna Cooper, Miss Universe Ireland ’15, presented the night’s demonstrations from Spa Solís’ signature product skin experts, including Yonka and Anne Semonin.

Vita Liberata Tanning Expert Rachel Lewis provided essential tips for getting a summer glow. Makeup artist Lynda Strain and Irish Country Singer Susan McCann brought a team to the stage to showcase their own exclusive makeup range through three fabulous looks. Fiona’s Hair and Beauty Studio in Donegal Town added a vintage glam touch to three hairstyles to give tips for special occasions and a guide to Melmare hair extensions.

Social media star ‘The Skin Nerd’ Jennifer Rock entertained and educated everyone with a crash course in the science of skin. Brimming with knowledge from Jennifer and all the experts, the ladies left the night with a renewed look on beauty from the inside and out, and many vowed to change their ways and stop taking skincare shortcuts.

Spa Solís was the hot talking point, as guest discovered how brands in the luxurious spa have all been specially selected to pamper and transform women with premium ingredients. A lustworthy goody bag was provided to all, which contained full-size products and samples from all the high-end brands which had demos and pop-up shops on the night. A special treat was a 50% off voucher for treatments at Spa Solís, which was most exciting after a night spent learning about the spa’s best experiences. See the pop-up shop teams here:
