Letterkenny Institute of Technology is having a Celebration of Women in Computing on Monday, 10 April.

The event will run from 11 am – 2 pm and members of the public are invited to come along.

The event will help attendees gain an understanding of the opportunities available to them, and give them a chance to network over computing topics.

The keynote speaker is Toni Collis of High Performance Computing. Toni established the Women in High Performance Computing (HPC) network in order to encourage women to participate in the HPC community.

Regina Barr of Pramerica is another guest speaker, and she will provide advice to attendees on the rising area of Quality Assurance. This event is run in conjunction with the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
