Dublin singer-songwriter Declan O’Rourke stepped in to promote the Christmas Spirit LK fundraising drive as they come ever closer to their target.

Christmas Spirit LK has just released a clip of Declan O’Rourke and organiser Pete Rose having a fun and unrehearsed jam session, singing ‘Put a Little Love in Your Heart’ – the song featured in the #LetterkennyCares fundraising video.

Commenting on the video, Pete Rose said, “What we didn’t tell you about Declan O’Rourke is that he is by far one of the most decent individuals we’ve met.”

The project aims to raise €2,500, and all money raised from public donations will be split between the Donegal Hospice and Pieta House.

The music video features 16 businesses from around Letterkenny as well as UnitedHealth Group, Pramerica, the Credit Union, the Donegal Hospice, Pieta House and the Letterkenny Gardai.

Since its release on December 1st, it has raised €2,360. They will continue fundraising until Christmas Day. Visit
