Great things happen when women support each other, and the supportive energy was almost bursting out of Lough Eske Castle on Thursday during the Donegal Women in Business ‘Leading The Way’ conference.

The event, marking 25 years of the network, attracted 220 women (and two men!) for an evening of talks, panel discussions and shared experiences.

Sponsored by Local Enterprise Office Donegal, the gala event featured a look back at the origins of the network in Stranorlar, and looked forward to the future of business communities in a digital age. Customer focus, self-care, education and growth featured strongly throughout the agenda.

Some of Ireland’s most influential businesswomen were in Donegal Town for the occasion, including keynote speaker, fashion stylist and television presenter, Sonya Lennon, and Newstalk broadcaster, Andrea Gilligan, who hosted proceedings.
