The Muff Liquor Company has released a brand new offering for your drinks cabinet – just in time for Christmas.
The Inishowen company unveiled their Muff Irish Whiskey today, but this five-part blend will be available for just a limited time only.
Greencastle native Laura Bonner, CEO of The Muff Liquor Company, tells DonegalWoman.ie the new release is already in high demand:
“There’s only 3000 bottles being produced, there’s currently just under 2000 left to reserve. As the saying goes when they are gone they are gone. I just hope people like it as much as our gin and vodka!,” she said.
Muff Liquor Gin and Vodka have been stirring up the drinks industry in recent years with numerous award wins, and now it’s the Whiskey’s turn to show its strength.
The new release is a blend of Irish Malt and Grain Whiskies, each one bringing an individual element. These then combine to give multiple layers of flavour on the nose, middle-palate and end of the tasting experience.
Each component has been put together to give a particular virtue. A five-part Blend is a “complex beast”, according to its creator, but it has been put together to give the layers of flavour whiskey enthusiasts will love.
As the company looks forward to the Christmas gifting season, Bonner is taking a moment to celebrate this accomplishment in a difficult year: “The best of the business for me is creating a product from scratch and seeing it all come together. That’s what I love the most. Even down to choosing the paper we use for the labels!
“2020 has been a disaster for business so having something to concentrate on has been really good, it’s important to keep pushing on with plans.”
