The Donegal Women in Business Network is looking forward to a new era of innovation and business success following the launch of a hotdesk in Letterkenny.

The DWBN organisation for entrepreneurial women in Donegal has opened an AIB-sponsored working space for the use of members in the CoLab in Letterkenny.

The hotdesk in the CoLab co-working space will give members the opportunity to have the perks of an office with high-speed internet, coffee meeting area and 24 hour access and parking.

A networking event was held on Wednesday evening to celebrate the launch of the new facility.

It was an exciting day for Donegal women in business, said network President Deirdre McGlone.

Ms McGlone said, “We are always looking for new ways to engage with women in business in Donegal and in the area.”

Deirdre thanked the CoLab and AIB for the great initiative in sharing the hotdesk, adding that “it really shows that innovation and the collaboration can make a difference to all our lives.”

Jim McLaughlin, Branch Manager of AIB Letterkenny, acknowledged the shared energy of the network members and of the businesspeople within the CoLab.

“There is a really positive energy and togetherness here. A lot of the businesses here do support each other in a lot of ways and there is a genuine sense that a rising tide lifts all boats here,” Mr McLaughlin said.

“We are delighted to be a support to success,” he added.

Mr Donaghy outlined the potential for growth that the CoLab offers through connections with New Frontiers, Enterprise Ireland and LEO Donegal that help open doors to business development.
