Fourteen inspirational young women have taken part in a fantastic fundraiser today for the Little Princess Trust.

The Transition Year students at Loreto Letterkenny gathered in their school gym today for a brave and kind-hearted charity event. There was much excitement in the gym as it was transformed into a pop-up hairdresser’s salon with the expert assistance of Patrick Gildea stylists.

TY’s enjoying the event in the gym.

All the girls donated at least 7 inches of their hair to a very worthy cause. The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young adults that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer.

The event was organised by two transition year students from Loreto; Eimear Quinn and Laura Kealy.

Patrick Gildea Hairdressing generously donated their services for the day to ensure professional haircuts.

The event was well attended by students from all years in the school, especially transition year students, and was enjoyed by all. Well done girls!
