The work of Inishowen artist Tanya McColgan is set to brighten the halls of Altnagelvin Hospital after a kind donation.

The Western Trust gratefully received a scenic painting of Shroove Lighthouse from Redcastle artist Tanya after two thoughtful donations from two local women.

Tanya had first donated the painting to Children in Crossfire as a raffle draw prize. Children in Crossfire is a Derry-based charity which helps children in poverty around the world and closer to home in Ireland and the UK.

The winner of the raffle, Jackie O’Neill, then donated the painting to the Children’s Ward in Co. Derry for the enjoyment of the children and their parents.

Tanya presented the painting to the Children’s ward along with Shauna Taylor from Children in Crossfire.
