Two local businesses have picked up top titles in the leading weddingsonline.ie awards 2018.

Ireland’s top wedding businesses and services were celebrated a glamorous black tie gala ceremony in Meath on Monday, co-hosted by Presenter Lisa Cannon and sponsored by wedding planning software Moposa.

The Silver Tassie Hotel in Letterkenny was proudly crowned as ‘Ulster Wedding Venue of The Year’ and Donna Gormley of Amore Wedding Stationery in Donegal Town won Stationery Designer of the Year.

Donegal was well represented by local women Grainne Mc Gibney (Armada Spanish Point Hotel) and Aisling Mc Cormick (Castlemartyr Resort) bringing home 2 prestigious awards.

Donna fought off tough competition to get to the finals, where Amore and 4 other businesses were named in the top 5.

Creative wedding photographers ‘Couple Photography’ and ‘Castlemartyr Resort’, the luxurious 5 star hotel in Co. Cork, were the two overall suppliers and venue winners of the 9th annual weddingsonline Awards.

The 35 winners were selected after over 25,000 couples voted for their favourite suppliers and venues in a range of categories, who were then judged by a panel of digital marketing professionals and wedding industry experts in conjunction with couples’ reviews.
