Dolores O'Riordan, lead singer of The Cranberries has passed away today at the age of 46.

The Limerick-born musician and mum of three reportedly died in while in London for a recording session.

Dolores and The Cranberries enjoyed worldwide success over the decades and are best known for hits including Zombie and Linger.

Her publicist confirmed the news: “Irish and international singer Dolores O’Riordan has died suddenly in London today. She was 46 years old. The lead singer with the Irish band The Cranberries, was in London for a short recording session. No further details are available at this time.”
