Letterkenny Babies have done another great service to the community after hosting a festive family fundraising party.

The Letterkenny Babies Facebook forum for local parents have raised a massive €2540 for two local charities – Ballaghderg Special Needs Pre-School and Mobilize for Mikaela, who will each receive €1270.

The Letterkenny Community Centre was a house of fun on Sunday 10th December for the Letterkenny Babies Christmas Jumper Party. The party is becoming an annual event for parents and youngsters to come together and enjoy festive activities and playtime.

A bouncy castle, petting zoo, face painting, disco and happy elves were just some of the highlights for young and old. A mega raffle helped raise extra support for the charity fund.

“Thank you all so much. It makes the day an amazing success to raise so much for deserving charities, but as well as that, it did my heart good today to see all the kids having such craic!”
