McDaid's, the makers of Football Special, have made an exciting announcement this weekend; their soft drink flavours have now been made into an ice-cream range just in time for summer!
The four yummy flavours available are Football Special, Smooth Banana, Cream Soda, and Pineapple.
Speaking to Donegal Woman, Kevin Gallagher from Mc Daid’s says “We have just launched our very first ice-cream range yesterday, it’s a very exciting day for Donegal and Mc Daid’s as Football Special has been around since 1949.”
The official launch of these delicious new flavours will take place at Rocket’s in the Letterkenny Shopping Center on Monday at 12pm.
Produced by Rocket’s, the ice-cream is available in twelve shops to date, but will be rolled out into more stores in the coming weeks.
