It's a tradition at Irish Secondary Schools for the Leaving Cert years to try and leave a lasting impression, and this was done in style at Rosses Community School this week.

The sixth year girls of the school entered into an epic battle with their teachers on their final day – squaring off in a high-stakes football match.

The colourful teacher team tried to distract with tutus – (men and all!) – but the girls had their game faces on from the very start.

The student squad – Posties Minions 2017, made a threatening entrance to the contest with their mascots before singing the anthem with gusto.

If the event wasn’t unforgettable enough, the dance moves of the teachers will be forever etched in their minds!
