Are you unemployed?

Looking to personally develop move into employment now or in the future?

WISE may be for you.

WISE (Women’s Integration, Skills & Employment) is a free programme open to women of all ages who have the potential, and the desire, to play a more active role in the labour force.

The WISE project aims to help women explore and access the opportunities available in Donegal for employment, self-employment and education.

A team of WISE advisers works across Donegal to help:

  • update/create a CV and cover letter for you
  • show you where to find your ideal position suitable to your needs
  • fill out application forms
  • prepare for interviews
  • help and support you in setting up your own business.

ALL for FREE? This is funded by the Department of Justice & Equality and the European Social Fund with an aim to promote Gender Equality in our County.

WISE Employment Adviser Michelle Gallagher explained: “I travel around Donegal to meet women, if they travel to meet me or attend a course funded by WISE, travel subsidy will be paid, and their childcare will be paid for them to come meet me if required. “

WISE is for women who are neither employed or unemployed – in that they are not in direct receipt of Jobseeker’s Benefit.  The women can, however, be claiming lone parents, carers, disability or they may also be a dependent adult on a partner or spouses job seekers payment.
