Two popular Donegal artists are among a collective of Irish women who have come together to send a powerful message to those living with domestic abuse – they are not alone.

Thirty-nine female singers and musicians joined forces to create a socially-distanced music video in aid of Safe Ireland.

Gaoth Dobhair natives Moya Brennan and Eve Belle are representing Donegal in the ‘Dreams’ by the Cranberries cover video.

The video has been making a remarkable impact online as it generates donations and awareness for Safe Ireland.

All funds raised from the recording will go to the Safe Ireland Covid-19 Emergency Fund, which will be distributed through 39 member services. It will be used directly to meet the needs of women and children fleeing violence and abuse in their homes.

The supergroup, called Irish Women in Harmony, has been highly praised for their collaboration and strong community response against domestic abuse. The project was co-ordinated by Irish singer-songwriter RuthAnne Cunningham.
