Most of us may be working through our loungewear collections as we stay at home, but these two Donegal sisters have added a touch of glamour to their isolation!

Louise Lynch from Buncrana and her sister Roisin Hutchinson decided to get all dressed up in their wedding wear for a house party with a difference this week.

Louise, who got married last year, seized the opportunity to re-wear her beautiful wedding dress to lounge about and drink Prosecco with friends via Facetime. Her sister Roisin joined the party in her bridesmaid dress.

Even though they had nowhere to go, the sisters had great craic passing the time together all dressed up.

The bridal trend took off on social media after broadcaster Maia Dunphy inspired followers to take their beloved dresses out of the closets at the beginning of the Covid-19 lockdown.

The response was so good that a date has been set for everyone to join in on the #weddingsmashers party on Instagram and Twitter this Wed(ding)nesday at 7.30pm.
