Lynda Loves Makeup: My new photoshoot!

Donegal-based makeup artist Lynda Strain shares four key looks from her recent product range photoshoot.

I would like to share some of the looks we created on our most recent photo-shoot.

I am hoping that I can add a little glamour to your day while we are all staying at home to stay safe.

This is the part that I love about my job, designing my mood boards and turning my vision into my creations and capturing it all on camera and sharing it with everyone and hopefully instilling some inspiration to other makeup artists and makeup lovers.

I also have to thank April from Loco Media who is in charge of my marketing department and Agatha from Shark Design for the wonderful photography and images and my beautiful models who inspired my creations.

JORJA – Sleek & Sultry

I wanted to create a clean flawless look firstly with soft peachy lips and soft smudged eyes followed by a smokier eye and stronger lip. Sleek to Sultry in a matter of minutes.

KEY PRODUCTS USED:

BASE: Diamond Primer, Flawless Finish Foundation Warm 1 & Hannah Luminator combined will create a sheer dewy natural base all over.

EYES: Amelia Alice Palette, Pyramid Liquid & Black Kohl Pencil 2^nd look

LIPS: Diamond 4 Gloss 1^st look & Sunset Blvd 2^nd look

CHEEKS: Sarah Spotlight

EAVAN – Bridal Beauty

Both looks are designed from the one makeup look. My first look is a precious yet defined look that for any bride will enhance her key features using a more natural colour palette on both eyes and lips.

My second look is created by my Hollywood Glamour Matte Liquid to the first look and in an instant we have our classic Hollywood Beauty. This is a great idea for brides who want a more subtle daytime look but would like to make a statement for evening time.

EYES & CHEEKS:Sarah Spotlight, Cookie Palette & Cleopatra Liquid Liner

ANUISKA – Wild Woman

My vision for “Wild Woman” looks can be deceiving. I might look nice and tame as look 1 portrays but I am really wild at heart as stated in the bolder brighter colours of look 2.

EYES: Hi-Life Contour Palette look1, Passion Blusher look 2

CHEEKS: Sarah Spotlight look 1, Passion look 2

LIPS: Diamond 1 Gloss look 1, Diamond 2 Lipstick look 2

PAULINE – Smokin’ Hot

Every woman will love it. Full smoky eyes, contoured cheeks and full lip colour is a look all females will love. It is a confident, bold and beautiful look that anyone can wear. Just adding a little line of glitter can add a little more oomph to any makeup look.
