𝟐. 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝗪𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫.
We are basically living, breathing bags of water. Our bodies are 60% water and our muscles are 79% water and our skin is 64% water.
So, look at it like this.
You can have a full bag of water that performs and looks well.
Or you can have a deflated wrinkled bag that feels and looks terrible.
Stop making excuses and start drinking more water in throughout the day.
𝟑. 𝐆𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤
People who hit 10k steps per day were shown to be less overweight than those who didn’t. It is also an easy, low impact way to get your cardio in.
So, get your daily steps in and reap the rewards.
𝟒. 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲
It doesn’t have to be the scales.
You can use measurements, how your clothes fit and how you look visually as these are all great indicators of progress.
If you can track reguarly and it doesn’t affect how your mood is, then it’s a great way to keep yourself on track.
𝟓. 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐢𝐧
Make protein the main thing you base your diet around.
It is very satisfying, so hard to over eat.
It’s lower in calories per gram.
It will keep you fuller for longer.
After you set up your protein, plan Vegetables and lastly add carbs to finish your meal.
𝟔. 𝐄𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭
Fruit is a great way to get quality carbs, vitamins and minerals while keeping low in calories.
It is also a better snack choice than higher calorie snack like chocolate or nut bars.
𝟕. 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐕𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥.
Vegetables are the best way to eat loads without taking in too many calories.
You can literally fill your plate for very little calories and that along with your protein choice will keep you on track for your weight loss goals.
𝟖. 𝐄𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐲
We tend to be distracted while eating and that means we tend to over eat. If you want to feel fuller, then eating slower without distractions will help with this.
𝟗. 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬
There is no way around this. Processed foods have loads of calories per serving and if you overeat on them, it will be easier to gain weight.
so ensure the majority of your diet comes from whole foods and you will have a better chance of weight loss success.
