Letterkenny fashionista Jae Sook Lee brought her super style influence to the Radisson Blu Hotel on Saturday for a fabulous ladies night out.
Jae, who runs the J’Style blog, was inspired by her beautiful daughter Chloe (7) to organise a fashion show in aid of Donegal Down Syndrome.
And the night was a great success, with local boutiques, entertainers and fashion fans coming together for a great cause.
The showcase featured the latest autumn/winter styles from Pure Clothing, Clare Clothing, Gerard and Pamela Scott, modelled by a talented team of ladies.
DJ Marty Friel kept the lively atmosphere going all night as MC, with Keaton from Donegal DJs and comedian Andy McGranaghan taking care of the entertainment.
Special guest was Mary O’Halloran, blogger at Mary’s Classic Style, who travelled from Dublin to judge the ‘Best Dressed’ competition.
Four women with unique styles were chosen as winners, with Kate Phelan from Leitrim taking the top prize.
Jae shared some of her sartorial secrets in a fun styling masterclass with Sheila Mc Menamin as her model. Guests gained top tips on dressing for your body shape, colour coordination and occasionwear.
Sheila, who is Secretary of the Donegal Down Syndrome Association, spoke on behalf of the charity to express a huge thank you to Jae for her fundraising efforts.
Jae was also full of gratitude to everyone who helped her organise the night. Wonderful prizes were donated by generous local business for a raffle, pop-up shops lined the entrance and many women travelled from across Donegal and beyond to attend the show.
“I think I’ll never forget today because it is my first event, thank you everyone,” Jae said.
But there was one little lady who inspired the whole event, she said.
“My biggest inspiration is my beautiful little sunshine, Chloe.”
