Sunday 31st March will be a special day when families head out for brunch, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea… and mammy gets to put her feet up!

The Foyle Hotel by Chef Brian McDermott has been winning prestigious awards left, right and centre since it reopened last summer. The food here is sure to impress your mammy, and the good news is that they have a traditional Irish lunch on Sunday 31st March for €25 per person. Booking essential.

The Central Hotel in Donegal Town are making Mother’s Day plans easy with a stunning Sunday carvery event. Set overlooking beautiful Donegal Bay, the five course lunch takes place from 12:00pm-4:00pm – and kids under 6 eat free!

High tea at Honeypot Coffee House

Honeypot sure know how to put on an amazing afternoon tea spread! The fresh bakes, cute china and casual family atmosphere combine for a great experience.

Afternoon tea at this Letterkenny cafe is great value too at just €16.50 per person – and you definitely won’t be leaving hungry.


Foodie delights and cocktails at Castle Grove 

Whisk your mum away to Castle Grove Country House for an afternoon of quality food in beautiful surroundings. Places are filling up fast for the Mother’s Day lunch on Sunday 31st March, while there’s a special afternoon tea event on Saturday.

The new Salty Fox cafe is tickling lots of tastebuds in Bundoran – so much so that they won Best Cafe in Donegal at the Irish Restaurant awards this month.
