Tonight is the night for Niamh, Grainne and Emma as they compete to be crowned Miss Universe Ireland 2018.

Three young Donegal women will be taking to the stage for the live finals in the Mansion House Dublin this Thursday night. They are among 28 of Ireland’s most extraordinary women who are competing for a once in a lifetime opportunity to serve as a goodwill Ambassador of Ireland at Miss Universe 2018.

Niamh Frain from Letterkenny, Emma Roarty from Dunlewey and Grainne Gallanagh from Buncrana have been put through their paces this summer in interviews, rehearsals and photoshoots ahead of the big event.

The finalists will all be hoping to footsteps of previous winners Roz Purcell, Joanna Cooper and Cailín Toíbín, who have built successful modelling careers from representing Ireland internationally.

Tonight’s final will be broadcast live on Miss Universe Ireland Facebook page.

Hosted by pageant director Brittany Mason and TV personality James Patrice, the show will feature interviews on topical issues such as Brexit, Repeal the 8th and society in Ireland, before a swimwear competition and evening gown showcase.
