Love seals? You can become a seal-saving hero on a family fun day this weekend.

A sunny family fun day will be held at Rossnowlagh this Sunday July 8th, with seal rescue training, a beach clean up and a spectacular seal release.

Rossnowlagh Beach

All three events are taking place on the action packed day that is open to everyone.

Locals are being invited to train as a Seal Rescue Network Volunteer to gain life-saving skills for the welfare of the animals. Training will be held in the morning.

The afternoon will see a Seal Release at Rossnowlagh Beach, which will be a great spectacle for young and old. Volunteers must be over 18 and must pre-register.

Plus, there will be plenty of fun for all the family throughout the day at the Beach Clean and Seal Release.
