Legendary rock band The Undertones have donated a signed electric guitar to be raffled off in the upcoming fundraiser for the Truth for Danielle McLaughlin campaign.

The coveted guitar will be raffled off on the night of Urban Conflict’s performance at 10pm on Easter Sunday in McCallion’s Music Quarter, Buncrana.

To be in with the chance of winning this incredible prize, you can pick up tickets for just 5 euro/sterling at McCallion’s Bar, Rodden’s Bar Buncrana, Cool Discs record shop in Derry, and the charity shop above G&S in Carndonagh.

There will also be a punk, soul, and ska disco afterwards in what promises to be an unmissable night of fun and fantastic music.

Proceeds from the event will fund the Truth for Danielle Mc Laughlin campaign. The young Buncrana woman was murdered in India last year, and funds are drastically needed by her family as they seek justice for her death.

Sharing the news that the signed guitar arrived back in Donegal this week, organiser Kim Mc Menamin says: “Just got the signed electric guitar from Michael Bradley, after many weeks, it actually had to go to London and then to Dublin to be signed by Damien O Neill and Paul Mc Cloone, a great effort by Michael Bradley for doing all the posting etc, thanks Michael and big thanks to all the Undertones for signing it.”
