A novel fundraiser is taking place over the Easter weekend in the Termon Complex, Pettigo.

The SEW Last Century Exhibition is the first of its kind in the north-west, as the 450 square meter sports hall will be transformed into a 20th century department store to exhibit the private collections of two avid clothing collectors; Jill Martin and Maureen Boyle.

Maureen tells Donegal Woman that one of the main features will be the exquisite bridal department, which comprises of sweeping bridal gowns dating from the late 1800s right through to the 1990s.

The beneficiaries of the two day event are three schools which are close to the hearts of many; St Mary’s National School here in Pettigo Village, Willowbridge School, Enniskillen and Flame of Hope School, India.

Be sure to drop down to the Termon Complex, Station Street, Pettigo on Sunday (1st April) and Monday (2nd April) between 2pm and 6pm to check out this unique exhibition.
