DonegalWoman.ie soaks up the warm festive atmosphere in the heart of Letterkenny, where the Off The Street Christmas market is in full swing.

The Off The Street Christmas food festival takes place in the town for two days only this weekend. Over 40 food and craft stalls have been set up inside a huge marquee and outside in a foodie alley.

Delicious cooking smells fill the air, as families enjoyed burgers, hot dogs, pizzas and a great selection of hot foods from local producers. Mulled wine, mulled cider and hot chocolates are all going down a treat too.

The Off the Street Christmas programme is packed with entertaining and inspirational demos from the best local chefs, storytellers and musicians. Nine celebrity chefs are in the line-up, so you can take a seat in the demo tent and pick up top Christmas cooking tips and delicious drinks ideas from local brewers and gin and whiskey distillers. Santa, Mrs Claus and Elves have their own festive cabin to greet children and give out gifts to all.

Christmasfest is located on Justice Walsh Road behind AIB bank Letterkenny, running from 12-9pm Saturday 2nd December and 12-6pm Sunday 3rd December.
