A Ballybofey native is appealing for help in finding her suitcase and passport after it went missing from a train.

Jo Cronnolly

Jo Cronolly was home on holiday from Australia when her suitcase and passport were taken by mistake from a train from Dublin to Kerry.

She is desperate to get her case back as she needs to fly back to Australia this weekend.

She is calling on the good people of Donegal and beyond to share her post around the country and hopefully locate her belongings in time. If you have any information, please contact news@donegalwoman.ie or message Jo on Facebook here.

Jo’s appeal went out last night (Tuesday)

Help needed! I was on the 17.05 train yesterday from Dublin Heuston to Tralee. When i got off in Charleville I realised someone had accidentally taken my carry-on case and left theirs behind. I need help to find this person. As far as I know they would have got off the train at Ballybrophy, Templemore or Thurles.

The reason this is so urgent is that my passport is in the case and I need it to travel back to Australia (it also includes some jewellery of very sentimental value). Whoever has mistakenly taken the wrong case may not have realised as they haven’t yet contacted Irish Rail or may not know how to get in touch. I really need to find this person so I can fly back to Australia. Can you please share this post to help me try and find them. x
