The wedding of Elaine Boyle and Ciaran Clarke in Letterkenny was filled with surprises from the very beginning.

Their ceremony in St. Eunan’s Cathedral on 29th June 2017 was made truly unique when bride Elaine sang a hymn by herself. She performed How Great Thou Art so beautifully to create an emotional moment for Ciaran and other family members.

Elaine and Ciaran met in Voodoo – no doubt like many local couples! It became a true Letterkenny wedding as the bridal party headed to Elaine’s former workplace for a pint and some bubbly in the Downtown Bar.

This week is a particularly special week for Elaine too, as the Mary from Dungloe International Festival gets underway in Dungloe. Elaine was a former Dungloe Mary in 2006 and her wedding also had a link to the iconic festival, which has long been associated with Daniel O’Donnell.

Daniel himself (or Gary Gamble if you look hard enough) added a personal touch to the wedding meal at the Silver Tassie Hotel. He specially prepared dishes for the top table… and helped them dish out a few jokes!

The Clarke wedding looked like a fun-filled day, between beach walks, getting ready at home and dancing the night away. Wedding cinematographer Jason McGarrigle captured all the lovely moments on video (above). Visit: donegalvideo.ie
