There's going to be a great pink parade in Annagry this Sunday as the Big Boob Run rolls into town.

The Big Boob Run is a controlled and fun cycle around the Rosses on Sunday 16th July. The only requirement is that you wear pink or a pink bra – men too!

There will be a more challenging route for the more experienced cyclists.

Prizes for best bra, fastest boobs and other top titles will be awarded on the day, and we can only imagine the colourful sights you’ll see in this “Boobs on Bikes” event.

Organiser Diane Robinson said there is great excitement ahead of the run, where men are also very welcome. “There will be loads of men putting on bras and tutus and getting dressed up,” she said.

Registration is at Sharkey’s Bar from 1.30pm on Sunday and an informative breast self-check talk will be held in the car park at 2.30pm.

Women AND Men: Have you got your best pink bra ready?

The cycle is going to be a lot of fun while being centred on an important message – Be Breast Aware. There will be a talk in the car park from a local health nurse at 2.30pm before the cycle to give information about breast cancer detection.

One in eight women develop breast cancer in their lifetime. This event aims to educate Donegal women about early detection to take care of themselves.

Refreshments are included en route at Carey’s Viking House Hotel and Bayview, Dungloe, and everybody will meet in Sharkey’s Bar, Annagry for some food and a debrief (or de-bra!) afterwards.
