The RTÉ lyric fm Quartet will bring live music to Donegal communities next week for Outreach 2017.

The music group will be performing a series of 50-minute concerts in schools and community groups across Donegal from next Monday, May 8th.

RTÉ lyric fm will visit Donegal as part of their new stream of outreach activity to bring music to the heart of local communities. ‘Music for all Ages’ is an engaging and entertaining RTÉ lyric fm outreach programme of live music performances, taking place in educational and community settings.

The team will visit Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Third Level Institutions, Care Homes and Libraries in the locality.

The concept behind this project is “Life-long learning: listen, engage, enjoy.” The programme is presented by the RTÉ lyric fm Quartet led by presenter Evelyn Grant (flute/piano), Mary McCague (violin/piano), Jean Kelly (concert harp/electric harp) and Gerry Kelly (‘cello).
