You may laugh now and tag your bridesmaids for the craic but going to the loo in your Wedding Dress requires a little careful thought and planning!

Another reason to choose your bridesmaid carefully as the rhyme can turn into reality very quickly!

So to give you a little insider knowledge on the toilet situation, I have got some little tips for you. (Yep! I am really telling you how to pee on your Wedding Day – the glamour of it all!)

If you have a dress with an A-line or ballgown skirt or a dress with a long train, then the easiest way to go to the loo is to go backwards! Just face the opposite way than you normally would so all the volume is safely behind you without having to worry about it getting in the way.

If you are wearing a hoop or underskirt, then just grab it at the bottom and pull it up – easy peasy!

If you are wearing a fishtail dress or one that is particularly tight around the hips then this can be a little trickier. It’s something to bear in mind during your alterations – always practice sitting down in your dress. If you are having bother sitting, then you will struggle with loo breaks! You may need to enlist the help of a trusted bridesmaid and visit the Bridal Suite a few times…. What happened in the Bridal Suite stays in the Bridal Suite!

Alternatively, you can always opt for the new craze that is the Bridal Buddy!
